The following appointments have been made at SJE Group investment companies:
US: Akcea Therapeutics has appointed Lynne Parshall, J.D., as chair of the Akcea Board of Directors and Barbara Yanni as a new member of the board. Both positions are effective immediately.
US: Dana has elected the company's president and chief executive officer, James K. Kamsickas, to the additional post of chairman of the board. Additionally, Keith E. Wandell, who has served on Dana's board since July 2008 and as non-executive chairman since September 2016, will continue on the board as lead independent director. The board also voted to expand its membership to nine directors and enhance its technology acumen by adding Bridget E. Karlin, chief technology officer and vice president of IBM global technology services.
US: Fiesta Restaurant Group has appointed Hope Diaz as the Company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Diaz is a highly successful marketing executive with over 20 years of proven experience focused on developing bold and effective brand strategies and marketing campaigns. Meanwhile, Dirk Montgomery has been named as the company's new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Montgomery has significant experience as a financial and operational executive in the restaurant, retail apparel, and consumer products industries.
US: First Solar has appointed Caroline Stockdale as the head of the company’s human resources and communications function, overseeing a global workforce of over 6,500 associates. Caroline has more than 20 years of operating experience in finance, human resources, business leadership, and process excellence, ranging from large global companies to entrepreneurial start-ups. She most recently served as the CEO for First Perform, a provider of human resources services for a wide variety of customers from the Fortune 100 to cyber start-ups. She served as chief human resources officer for Medtronic and Warner Music Group among others, and as the senior human resources leader in global divisions of American Express and General Electric. Caroline is also a member of several advisory groups including the Forbes Human Resources Council.
