Alion, a US-based SJE Group investment, has been awarded two new US defence contracts:
a $950M contract to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2); and
a $39M US Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) task order to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR), and Special Operations Force (SOF) Directorate.
The JADC2 contract is part of a multiple award multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum) in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.
The AFMC contract will provide AFLCMC/ISR/SOF with state-of-the-art technical support for every fighter, bomber and cargo aircraft; training system; remotely piloted aircraft; missile and aeronautical weapons currently in the USAF inventory as well as for a number of foreign military allies.
The SJE Group congratulates Steve Schorer (Chairman and CEO, Alion), Katie Selbe (Cyber Network Solutions Senior Vice President and General Manager, Alion) and the rest of the talented team.
