United Group, a Netherlands-based SJE Group investment, and the leading telco and media provider in Southeast Europe, is donating medical equipment and funds totalling USD $3 million in all the countries where it operates – Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia – as well as in Bulgaria, where it is awaiting regulatory approval for the acquisition of Vivacom.
USD 1,200,000 will be donated in cash and USD 1,800,000 in medical equipment, such as medical ventilators, thermometers, masks, highest-quality virus tests, and protective goggles. The deliveries of equipment have been coordinated with the governments of the countries and will begin this week.
