USD$40M New Contract

Alion, a US-based SJE Group investment, has been awarded a USD$40M task order to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane by providing sustainment and development of expeditionary weapon systems. Alion will assist NSWC Crane to develop next generation, integrated weapons systems and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities for multiple platforms. This will include both manned and unmanned ground and maritime mobility platforms, providing quick-reaction and engineering analyses to support total life-cycle management of current and advanced small arms systems.

Alion will accomplish this by providing advanced engineering solutions, analyses, integration, test, assessment, and certification of systems of aging or obsolete components and systems and incorporate advanced materials, processes and install state-of-the-art weapon systems technology to enhance the capabilities of platforms to ensure that warfighters receive the cutting-edge combat capabilities they need to accomplish their mission in forward-deployed areas around the globe.

The SJE Group congratulates Alan Dietrich (Senior Vice President and General Manager, Alion) and the rest of the Executive team.
